Why am I such a procrastinator?

I should be studying. Always. I have one more night of lecture, and my final is Wednesday. Maybe May terms aren't so bad...I survived my presentation last night. It was pretty much terrible. I was so nervous I just read the PowerPoint slides. I couldn't even make eye contact. My teacher really liked this chart thing I made and asked me to email it to him, so I guess that is a good thing. I just gotta get out of there with at least a C.


We went to Sam's today. Two-people families should not go to Sam's. There is just way too much cool stuff for only two people. Did we really need six boxes of Puffs? No, but we have six boxes of Puffs now. Milk is a good thing to buy at Sam's. It is only $3.12. And we buy Brooks' dog food there, because he eats so much. Chris's cousin Christie just had her baby this week, and so I bought the baby (Alexis) some Carter's onesies. Very cute. We also bought a box of dryer sheets (I think there were like 400 dryer sheets in the box). We bought a lot of other random and unnecessary items. I am not sure why we go there. But it is fun. And I am not really sure why I typed all that, but there you go.


Margie (my mom's best friend) and Mason (Margie's son, and my best friend) and Courtney (Mason's super-sweet girlfriend, and my pictionary partner) came by to see us today. We had a nice visit, and Chris had another reason to not study for awhile. Mason is looking for a house with some land. He only lives ten minutes from us, but he is looking at houses that are even closer. Maybe will we get to see him more if he moves closer. Yeah, I know, ten minutes IS close.


Chris is going to grill steaks in a little bit, if it doesn't rain. YUM! I am going to Jasper tomorrow, so I guess today is Memorial Day for TheShubertFam. My mom goes to see her oncologist Thursday to get everything set up for her radiation. She will also see her ortho doc to have the staples removed from her leg. My dad said she is getting a little bit better every day. (I haven't seen her since Thursday night.) Today would have been my grandmother's birthday, my mom's mom. She died several years ago from cancer. So my mom is having kind of a sad day today. But Brooks and I will be there in the morning, and that always cheers everyone up!
