why is it that the weeks go by sooo slow and the weekends go by so fast?
I have decided that I am going to have a good week. A productive week. I am finally feeling better. I stayed up until around 2am finishing my presentation, and I finished my paper about an hour ago. It is actually due on Wednesday, not Friday. But I am still two days ahead. I usually wait until like the day that things are due to decide to complete (ahem start) them. Chris has a crazy few weeks coming up. He starts his job on Friday. I know it will be hard for him because he has 2 more weeks of class until summer break. I am about to go to the grocery store and buy the stuff to make strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream frosting. Publix had strawberries on sale, so we bought some. There is no way 2 people and a giant dog can eat that many strawberries (Brooks doesn't really eat strawberries) and I love love love strawberry cake. OK, so enough about the cake. I also found a recipe to make Japanese salad dressing (you know, the kind you get at the Japanese restaurants) and I am going to attempt that one today also. We'll see how that turns out. If I like it, I will post the recipe. I like to cook. It is like therapy. And my house is very clean, so I really can't clean it again, so I am going to cook stuff until it is time to go to my class. I know, I know, I am a crazy neurotic housewife. I will probably talk to my giant yellow dog while I cook, which proves that the previous statement is in fact true.

I like the blog! It's not nerdy!! I have/had one, but just deleted what I had last week. I think my one and only post was in March. The strawberry cake sounds good! You'll have to post the receipe. I am jealous of your clean house and time to cook! :( I will just sit here at work and dayream about being at home, sitting by the half way clean pool!! :D
don't be jealous, i may make a d in my management class and never graduate college! AAHHH!!!!
I'm jealous too... and if you make a D, take the class again and make an A... that's what I do...
I actually made a C on my test! Hooray! So I could possibly still fail, but it helps that I have a C and not a D or F because it very easily could have been a D or F...and the cake is great! More on that later...
