good day

I decided that I am going to blog. Or be a blogger, I am not sure of the terminology. I am new at this. My friend Megan helped get me started.
(For those of you that read Megan's blog my blog will not be even close to as cool as her's, but I am going to give it a good try.)

Today I slept until around 9:30. It was nice. And then I cleaned house a little and laid around until Chris said he was sick of studying and wanted to go do something fun. So we decided to go to Mug Shots (my favorite place to eat in Tuscaloosa) and then we went to the movies to see Narnia. It was so good! Then we went to Publix and bought a lot of food but we still don't have anything to eat. We came home and I gave Brooks some ice cream. He was a very happy puppy.

Chris always knows how to cheer me up. I have been really sad about my mom, even though I am trying really hard to not be. And I have been sick. And I haven't been at home for several weeks now. And I am not sure how this May term is going to turn out...but Chris is a really good husband. So he made what could have been a lay-around-and-be-sad-day into a good day. I am very glad he did. :)

I talked to my dad (it was more of a whisper since I am recovering from laryngitis) and he said that my mom had a really good day today. She has felt better than she has in a while. I know she will feel much better when she can finally walk again!

I have a presentation and a paper due Friday night, neither of which I have started. I only have 7 more classes and my May term is over. It just started. I have never taken a May term. I also don't like May terms. I don't guess I will ever take one again, since I will (hopefully) graduate in December.

So now I am going to go wash clothes and unload the dishwasher. And procrastinate some more about that paper/presentation. And maybe watch the season finale of SNL, if I can manage to stay awake that late.
