Happy Birthday MIL!
Connie and Patrick came to our house today to celebrate her birthday. I was feeling super-spunky, so I decided to not only make a cake, but decorate that cake in a very cute fashion. It turned out better than I anticipated. I also made a birthday banner to coordinate with the cake.
Then, I was still feeling spunky so I decided to make my own blackening seasoning for the shrimp. I heart The Food Network. It turned out to be pretty delicious. And cute. Yay me.

Do you remember the time we cooked noodles and we put all this random stuff in there? At first we liked and then by the 3rd bite we decided it was horrible. We later figured out that we didn't drain the noodles!! Please tell me you remember this. I hope I am not crazy!
BW-I DO remember the noodle incident...I also remember us making potato chips in the oven at your parents house, haha! Wow, we have been friends a looong time. And I am glad. We should post random things from middle school. THAT would be hilarious. Can you believe we have been out of high school five years???
I think being at home all the time motivates me in weird ways...
