the silliest smart person, part II
A few months ago, I posted about Chris's poster project. A few minutes ago, he got an email saying that he was chosen to speak in Galveston, Texas, in April! We didn't think he was going to get to go, since he didn't place at UAB. I am going to tag along, since the conference is at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort. Oh, also, Chris made a one hundred on his test today. Again. And we are going to eat at Chuck's with some Tuscaloosa friends. Good day!

What a rascally smart person he is... who knew pancreatic stuff could be so bigboystyle? (I was going to say "placenta" and then I realized that I am the one dealing with a placenta, not Christopher. He deals with pancreases. Pancreai? Pancreatic doesn't look right either... it is past my bedtime.)
I'm glad you're going to get to have a fun trip!!!
Congratulations Chris!! That is awesome!
I am so proud of you Chris. You are very blessed to have a supportive wife. Sara
Thanks for the congrats! I forgot to mention that only six other people in the NATION were chosen to speak in the oncology division. Yay Chris!
Sara, I am glad you left a comment :)
Beth, can't wait for Thursday!
And Megan, I have no idea what the plural of pancreas is??? I am sure someone would love to lecture us about this...Haha!
the great internet says that it is plural pan·cre·as·es or pan·cre·ata \pan-ˈkrē-ət-ə\ so megan was right the first time -- but i was hoping it would be pancreai haha... so if you have more than one ford taurus then what do you call them? dunno
I'm tempted to ask Christopher about the platelet/epidural thing, but I'll have to make sure I do it some time when you won't get a repeat. HA!
And I think it should have been pancreai too. That's bigboystyle. hehe
